A Guiding Light at the Sea

I love lighthouses! Love - love - LOVE lighthouses. They are so majestic looking. Therefore I was really excited when I received the images for the Mystery Image card swap. Darlene, the hostess this round, gave me the opportunity to create a lighthouse card.

My card is quite simple, the colors very subtle. But I think this allows the lighthouse to be the focus of the card, which is the look I was going for.

I hope Darlene and the other swappers like my card!

Darlene, thank you for being a fabulous hostess!

I love the seagull brad that I added to my card - it's from Eyelet Outlet.

That's washi tape at the bottom. Subtle but fun!
I even added a strip of it to the inside of my card:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Image (provided by Darlene): Stampendous Beacon of Light (I colored it with Copic Markers)
