Fans Aren't Just for Cooling

If you were here last Monday, you might remember I mentioned that I would show two cards using the Fan stamp set from Eyelet Outlet. These were such fun to make!

The thing I really like about the Fan stamp set is that it is so versatile. It's not just about those spinning things that cool us, nor is it just about being a fan of some sport or other thing. It also has a creative ways of incorporating the word "fan" in a sentiment, not to mention the pun of "You blow me away" - how fun is that!?!?!?!

I made two cards with the set (so far).

Card #1

I needed an embellishment to fill in the space and my go to embellishment for that sort of thing is usually either enamel dots or rhinestones. However, I didn't have any in my personal Eyelet Outlet stash that were quite the right color. So I got to wondering... Can one color enamel dots with Copics? I decided to sacrifice one little white Matte Enamel Dot and see. It works! So I colored a few more and added them to my card.

Card #2

Those Foam Hand brads (from Eyelet Outlet, of course) are just too much fun and they are the perfect embellishment for the sentiment on this card!!!

Those are wonderful ideas for the fan stamp! That looks like it would be a fun one to add to my collection sometime. TFS!
