I Think Unity Is Pretty Special!

Oh. my. goodness. I am so excited! I have waited and waited and WAITED for this day to get here... and it finally has! Envision this - I'm jumping up and down and squealing as I type because I am so excited!

Why all this celebration? Because I am one of this week's Growing in Unity Gals!!! Do you know about Growing in Unity? If not, you need to, because it is pretty amazing!

Each week there are two Growing in Unity Gals. (I'm still so excited that I am one of them this week!) As a GIU Gal, every day this week (Monday through Friday) I will post a card/project on featuring a Unity Stamp/Set on my blog. Then at the end of the week, two winners will be chosen randomly from the people who have commented on my GIU blog posts. Those winners will receive a package in the mail from Unity... containing 25 random stamps. How cool is that!?!?!?

So come on... check out today's card (as well as the others this week) and BE SURE to leave a comment! After all, if you don't comment, I won't know you were here and I won't be able to put your name in the drawing for the prize.

Oh, and in case you're wondering... yes, I do have a lot - A LOT - of Unity stamps, so it was difficult to decide which ones to use this week. I made my choices a little easier... I decided to only use Unity stamps in my collection that I have not previously used.

Isn't that image just way too adorable?
This set comes with the image and sentiment I used, plus one more sentiment.
Check it out HERE.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hint: Don't forget to comment for a chance to win the prize.

Image/Sentiment: Unity Smooches and Stuff stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers, a Zig Wink of Stella Marker, and a Gelly Roll Gel Pen

Papers: Recollections Brown and White and Stampin' UP! Wild Wasabi CS and DP from my scrap file

Embellishments: Brad and Washi Tape from unknown vendors

Jeanette--Congrats on being chosen as a Unity Gal. What an honor---but then again, I think you deserve it! All your cards are so adorable. I often cannot think of anything appropriate enough to express the way they make me feel. I study your layouts, your use of many papers, and especially your coloring. I can never pick a favorite because they are all are just so awesome. I can smile--even when whizzing on by. LOL

Altho, Unity has become a favorite, sometimes I can't envision a wonderful card from a bare image. The Show & Tell proves Einstein to be so correct in that quote! LOVE what you did with the Smooches image. The color of her dress picks up the DSP wonderfully.. Show & Tell is a brilliant business key & fab for me!!

Super sweet card, Jeanette and great DP choice. Love the different layers - inside and out and the heart brad is a nice accent.

Thanks for the Chance to win Unity Stamps. I like them a lot but don´t have any. So, wish me luck in the draw :-)

I did not know about this Growing In Unity girl thing. My collection in Unity stamps is growing and growing. I even started a Unity header on my blog for all my cards I have made with these fabulous stamps. This is a precious card, Jeanette, and so glad you were getting to be one of those GIU girls. It sounds like a ton of fun to me.

This is a great thing to learn about, Jeanette. I love seeing those stamps I have not gotten yet used on cute cards like these. I have spent my stamping budget at Unity over the last 5 months are so. I just love their stamps. I have even started a header on my blog for all the cards I have made with their stamps. A huge fan, and so happy for you being a Growing in Unity girl this week.
