Challenged to Use Fewer Layers

I have challenged myself to participate in the SCS special challenge every day this week. Today it's the Free For All Challenge. Jeanne, the hostess, asked the participants to cut back on the layers they normally use when making a card. Did you hear  me gasp when I read that? Seriously! I love - LOVE - layers... so to cut one (or more) out felt like torture. But I'm up for a challenge, so I did it.

I miss my dark layer of CS behind the layers.
BUT... a challenge is a challenge. Right?

Here's the inside (again without CS layers):

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Oh... and if you haven't checked out the PDE Linky Party Challenge yet... be sure to scroll to my next blog post, too, for details about it.

Your brick layer and layered flower embellishment is perfect for Bernadette Girl! She is a part of my collection, too! I love her!
