Bible Journaling Day 8

This is the 8th day of my personal 21-Day Bible Journaling Challenge. Today I did something a bit different. I've been using stamps and treating my pages sort of like a card or scrapbook page. Today there was no stamping involved. Instead I used a Frantic Stampers precision die for the focal part of my entry.

I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God.
Bend down and listen as I pray.
Psalm 17:6

I actually got the idea for this page from my little note-taking notebook that I take to church with me each week. On March 12th the Sunday School teacher at Keenes Missionary Baptist Church made the statement that I've handwritten on this Bible Journaling page. That resonated with me because I know that I am much more intent in my prayers when I have a great need. I was convicted of that when the teacher said it and I'm trying to do better. God is not just a "fix-it" God; He is an all-loving God.

I'm really not satisfied with this page - it's one of those that looked better in my head - but I do love the lesson it teaches. For some reason that flat tire on the car just makes me think I need to do better.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Problems do seem to bring out our most fervent prayers. A human weakness, I know. Sensational reminder and journal page!
