Glistening Snowman

I know. I know. It's barely autumn... but who can resist an adorable snowman?

I actually made this card for a mystery image group I'm in on SCS. Dea sent the adorable image and I had fun putting together the card.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but the snowman was stamped on white cardstock. I masked the snowman and then sponged both blue and lavender ink all around him. (Only the blue shows up though. UGH!)

I love the DP - all one piece, but hues of blue and lavender. So on the inside I used two pieces...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Ink: Tim Holtz Distressed Inks
Papers: from my scrap file
Embellishments: Michael's Rhinestones, Stampin' UP! Ribbon, Stickles Glitter Glue, and a Snowflake Brad from an unknown vendor
