On the Road Again...

When I was a child, my family owned a camper. I have a few fond memories of times spent in nature, though I truly am a city girl by nature.

Fast forward to when my daughter was in elementary school. She was a Girl Scout; I was her leader. My co-leader encouraged our troop to go camping often - in a tent! I have fond memories of those times with the girls - out in nature! Brittney would tell you that I sat with my feet propped up while the girls pitched "my tent", cooked "my food" on the open fire, and cleaned everything up, too. Truth be told, she is right... because my co-leader said the camping experience was for the girls and I was to do as little of the work as possible. So thank you, girls, for allowing me to be pampered as we camped.

Fast forward again... to card group I'm currently part of. Imke's Mystery Image group. Someone is the host each month and as host, sends matching images to the other women. We all create. Such fun! Then we are given the name of one of  the other members and we mail our card to that person.

Tracie was the hostess in July and she sent a large assortment of "camping" images (Two Paper Divas) to each of us. THANK YOU, Tracie!

Here's the card I created:

Here's the inside:

My card is now "on the road again..." as it heads to Patti's house.  I hope she'll like it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

You certainly had the right idea when camping with the girls Jeanette.
Gorgeous card, and I do agree that you should have a chair handy to relax in, at all times :-)
Blessings
