Falling Leaves

One of the most beautiful sights in nature is an autumn-colored tree. There's one in the neighbors yard that is turning the most gorgeous red. I'm not sure why, but it's changing much earlier than the other trees in our neighborhood. I guess it just wants to dazzle us.

I am glad!

I'm also glad that the Sweet Stampin' Challenge this week is all about autumn. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of card that reflect this gorgeous season.

I hope you'll participate in the Sweet Stampin' Autumn Challenge!

I decided to do something a bit different with my card. I used double-sided designer paper for my base and even used a few layers to create it.

Here's my card:

It's really prettier in real life than the photo. And I like that it's way out of my usual way of doing things - no black layers, more lightweight, etc. It's fun to try something new!

Here's the inside:

Because it's made with double-sided paper, even the back is pretty:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
