Blessings

I have been enjoying Patter's Scripture/Hymn Challenge this year. It is such an uplifting experience to read her posts and then create a card based on the hymn of that particular challenge.

Today's card is Hymn #6 in the process. The hymn is Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing. Such a lovely hymn! If you'd like to hear it, click here.

I decided to print the hymn on designer paper this time. It makes it difficult to read the words, but I do like the way it looks.

Here's the inside of my card:

I used a sentiment from an Our Daily Bread stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Hymn: online freebie from Patter's blog
Sentiment: Our Daily Bread
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Cardstock: Recollections Black and Staples Ivory
Designr Paper: from my scrap filee
Embellishments: Paper Studio Gems and Ribbon from an unknown vendor

Wonderful card, Jeanette! The colors are great and that hymn is a favorite, we even play it in Bell Choir!
The ribbon is perfectly textured to compliment the paper the hymn is printed on. Nice touch!
