Delicious Flowers

I started yesterday's blog post by saying, "My daughter introduced me to an adorable little boy on youtube. Check this out." So, in an attempt to treat my offspring equally, let me begin today by saying...

My son introduced me to an amazing place to eat. Check this out.

I don't really remember when he took me to Chipotle for the first time, but I do know that I was hooked.

YUM!!!

The only problem is, the closest one to my house is two hours away. But I digress as my taste bugs kick into high gear at just the thought of a wonderful Chipotle "fat burrito".

My children actually have laughed at me, because a few times - okay, MANY times - I have taken the wrapper out of the Chipotle basket (to keep it clean) and then brought it home. Here's the reason why I've done that...

I just knew I could figure out something to do with that wonderful piece of paper and use it on a card. And I did! I made Delicious Flowers!

Here's the VERY plain inside of my card:

This is my 38th card for the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today... want to meet me at Chipotle for lunch?

Oh lucky you Jeanette - the closed Chipotle to me is about 6 1/2 hours away :o( It is very yummy I agree. I am in absolutely amazement that you thought to save those wrappers and make such gorgeous flowers on this great card. You are the Reuse and Recycle Queen in my book. It would be hard to top that :o)

Such a great idea to use the wrapper. The texture of the paper is perfect for the flower(s). Oh and Chipolte rocks!

Woooo Hoooo!!! Look at those gorgeous flowers! You should sell them to Chipotle! Love the card and you've left the inside open and flexible enough to use this for anyone and anything. Great idea!
