Lift High the Cross

About a week ago I happened upon a blog I'd never seen before and I was immediately drawn to the opportunity it offers.

If I understand it correctly, every two weeks will begin a new Bible Study with a hymn image to download. Participants are encouraged to create a project - ATC, card, scrapbook page, whatever - using the hymn image.

I love this idea!

For more information (and to participate, if you'd like) click here. Oh, and be sure to click on the link she has and listen to the beautiful hymn...

Lift High the Cross

I know you must be shocked, but I didn't use any designer paper on this card. I just thought it would detract from the hymn, so I went with solids. Oh, and I used one of my Our Daily Bread stamp sets - Time.

I went VERY simple on the inside:

This is my 31st card for the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Have a blessed Son day!

Very pretty, Jeanette! I ear-marked this challenge, too - if it's from Triple the Scraps Patter Cross, that is! I have it downloaded but haven't had time to play :) Gorgeous creation

I love how this card turned out. The colors and the imposed stamp on the hymn paper. Great ideas and execution. ♥ it!

Wonderful job on this one (as usual). Love that you featured the Hymn itself and stamping the clock on it really works for your theme! I think the inside is perfect too.
