The Perfect Blend

It's the 15th of May - how fun! Do you know what that means? It means it's time for the Dueling Darlings to post their once-a-month creations!

There are two teams - the Divas and the Dazzlers. (I'm a Dazzler!) Each team has a hostess for the month. The two hostesses decide on a theme and then mail out card kits to their team members, without the other team knowing what is in the kits. Until today - when we reveal our cards - it is a secret what image we're using, etc.

Debbie, who lives way up in Alaska, is the Dazzler hostess this month. Oh my goodness...... you should see he fun she sent us in the kits!

But first, let me tell you this month's theme -

The Perfect Blend

(Oops! I guess I kind of, sort of, already told yo with the title of this post, didn't I?)

Debbie's words were, "What is better than coffee with freinds!!!" Soooooooo she sent us Whippersnapper Hot Java Divas images (but she renamed them Hot Java Dazzlers... LOL!!!) She also sent a sentiment, a cup image, two designer papers, buttons, twill, and even a real coffee stirrer from Starbucks. How fun!!!

Here's the card I made:

I decided to make an easel card because (honestly) it gave me more space for using the wonderful papers Debbie sent.

Here's a closer look at the fun image:

A view from up above:

This is what it looks like when it's folded closed:

I'm so excited to see what the other Dueling Darlings created. Let's go take a look!

What a great card. And what a great idea to do an easel card to have more "canvas" to work with. Love the way you used the kit and colored the image. Beautiful job!

Jeanette--I love your card--such a perfect image for you to use and the easel layout is great! I think the best part is the "secret" part that all the rest of us knew and hopefully was a surprise to you and put a smile and probably a tear (or two) on your face! Love Ya Friend! Thanks for letting me be a part of such a wonderful team of creative ladies!
