What I Love

I am part of an incredible group of swappers - more than swappers, we are a Sisterhood! Each month, one of the group serves as hostess and chooses a theme. We've been doing this for gosh, who remembers how long. Maybe it's been over two years now. Anyway, Barb chose a really fun theme for February and I'm just now getting a chance to show you my card. Her theme challenged us to think of something we love and to create a card based on that.

I thought............. and thought......... and thought some more! There are so many things I love.

Finally I chose my love for travel (partly because I love the stamp I inked up. LOL!) I really do love to go places, whether it's on a trip to see my daughter who lives over 800 miles away (Hi Brittney! Yes, I'm talking about you again.) or whether it's to a meeting somewhere here in our own state, or even on an international mission trip. I love to go, go, go!

I used the Safe Travels stamp from Susana's Custom Art

Obviously, I need to get some better photography skills if I'm going to do much sightseeing in my travels. These pictures are not very good. I'm sorry!

I also love to travel around and check out blogs. I am sure many of you do, too! Well, I was delighted to see that I had won a little award on Laurie's blog.

I'm supposed to share 8 things about myself and then pay it forward to 8 recipients.

Let's see....

1. I signed up to be an A•Muse Creative Consultant a few days ago and received notification that my starter kit has been shipped and will be here on Friday. I'm sooooooooo excited!!!

2. I've lived in 11 states, attended 26 schools and have lived in my present home over twice as long as I've ever lived anywhere in my life. (We've been here almost 11 years.)

3. I do not like amusement park rides, but I love most of the rides at Disney World and Disneyland.

4. I missed church one Sunday because of Prairie Dogs - oh and those people who were trying to climb Devil's Tower. We were on vacation and having a marvelous time. We drove out to Devil's tower and I was so enthralled with the way the prairie dogs would come up at the side of the road and look at you. Then we got to the tower and were mesmerized by the people trying to get up the tower. We left the area too late and didn't get to church in time. Oh, well! We have wonderful memories of that vacation!

5. Elvis is my co-pilot in my Private Jet. LOL! My car's name is my Private Jet (it's a VW Jetta) and I listen to Elvis Radio every time I drive it. I've had my Private Jet for 8 months and have driven over 17,000 miles in that time... just think of how may Elvis songs I've heard in that time.

6. My favorite flower is rose moss... I love its delicate beauty and variety of colors.

7. I do not like to talk on the telephone but I love to text and chat online.

8. I'm somewhat of a rule breaker upon occasion - this is one of those times. LOL! See, I'm supposed to pass this award on to 8 people... but I just can't do that. How could I narrow it down like that. Soooooooooooooo... if you're reading this, I'd love for you to accept this award - only IF you want to! If you do accept it, please let me know so I can check out your blog post, okay? I'd love to learn 8 things about you!!!
