Sew Many Challenges - Christmas Project

Sew Many Cards is proud to present

June 11 - 17

Theme: Anything But a Card Christmas Project

Simon Says is a monthly sponsor of Sew Many Cards this month.

Thank you, Simon Says, for generously donating a $10 gift certificate for this month's Sponsor Prize Package.

The Cutting Cafe is this week's Challenge Sponsor.

Regina Easter is the owner of The Cutting Cafe. She has generously donated a Prize Package of Any 3 sets of winners choice. Thank you, Regina!

For my Anything But a Card Christmas project, I decided to make a Christmas ornament.

Sew Many Cards Fawn Holiday Fishes

The disc portion of the ornament features a repeat of the image on both sides so it can be viewed from both sides.

For embellishments I used actual fishing items: clear fishing line, a fish swivel, a variety of fishing weights, a fish hook, and a bright red and white bobber.

I also had the pleasure of creating some cards with some Cutting Cafe images. (Thank you, Regina, for your generosity!)

The Cutting Cafe Assorted Bug Circle Words

This set has a wide variety of sentiments, all in circular form. I had a difficult time choosing just one to use on my card.

The Cutting Cafe Cute Critters

This set features a variety of images (gobs and gobs of them) - both critters and sentiments. I chose a bold sentiment to use and created the bee with a variety of paper punches.

Won't you join us in this week's Sew Many Challenges? I'd love to see your Christmas projects. And you just might win that incredible prize package from The Cutting Edge.

Hurry! You don't want to be late!!! (Christmas is coming!)
