Squigglefly Challenge - Fun Borders!

NOTE: I have two posts for today - this Squigglefly Challenge one and a Sunshine Monday one.

Welcome to this week's Squigglefly Challenge!

Maria is our hostess for the challenge and she has chosen FUN BORDERS as the theme. Here are her instructions:

Simply include a fun punched border on your creation or make your ownfancy border!

To be eligible for the prize, please use a Squigglefly image! There are always FREEbies available at their site!

I used the Squigglefly Birthday Gifter image and created a peekaboo card. As you can see in the pictures, when the card is closed you just get a peek at the little girl, not realizing she's holding a gift behind her back. When the card is opened there is the birthday greeting and the surprise gift, too. I thought it created some cute suspense.
For my border, I used a Stampin' UP! scallop border punch. I added some shimmer with Stickles and a dash of birthday cheerfulness in the ribbon I selected. I attached the ribbon with the one-hole bow technique.
Borders really are fun. Why not give this challenge a try! I'd love to see what you create!!!
