I've been tagged

Okay, it looks like three of my friends have tagged me. Now let me figure this out... does that mean I'm to find the 6th picture in my computer and write about it? I think that's what I understand from Karen's blog. If so, here goes...
This is a picture of my daughter (isn't she pretty???) sitting in the antique GMC pickup truck that my father restored. I think it's a 1949 model. That's my dad in the picture with her. The pickup was my great-grandfather's pickup (my mom's grandfather). My mom and dad acquired it some years ago. It was in horrible condition. My dad has taken it completely apart and restored every inch of it. The bed is made of the most gorgeous wood - from my uncle's trees. It really is incredible!

Now my Dad is in the process of restoring an old Corvair ragtop. After all, he has two daughters... so his reasoning is that he needs two vehicles to leave to them.

Now to my three friends... Did I do this right?

Thank you!

My husband, son, and I have gone out for the afternoon/evening - to the city shopping and out to dinner. (Yes, I know the temperatures are well below zero... Brrrrrrrr!) We are now home but being out in the cold has made me so tired and I am sure I will be heading to bed very soon. At the same time, I cannot let this day pass without posting a great big THANK YOU to all of you who have checked out my new blog, posted a comment, become one of my first followers, or given me high fives in other ways. And it's just Day 2.

Thank you!!!! I am so fortunate to have friends like you.

I'm Trying to Enter the World of Blogging

I am so in awe of some of the amazing blogs I've found while searching for paper crafting ideas. Wow! Just incredible!!!

I've also made some incredible friendships among fellow crafters. They have inspired me, challenged me, affirmed me, and blessed me.

Now I am ready to venture out and try to create my own blog. This is definitely a work in progress. (Who am I kidding; I don't have a clue what I am doing!!!) Please bear with me as I try to figure out how to do this.

And remember... Creative Play really is Cheaper than Therapy!
